Before transferring to Georgia, Abson played two years at Appalchain State and averaged 2.5 blocks per game.
In the 2023-24 season, Abson shot 61.9 percent from the field for 7.9 points per game alongside 7.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per apperance.
