With Michigan State last season, A.J. Hoggard started in all but one game for the Spartans yet he averaged just 10.7 points per game.
Hoggard's offensive struggles were also reflected in his minimal 5.2 assists per game.
However, as a fifth-year senior for the Commodores, Hoggard brings a level of experience that is vital for someone running an offensive or defensive unit on the court and should be a beneficial addition to Vanderbilt's roster.
