Ranking every SEC starting point guard ahead of the 2024-25 season
By Sam Fariss
Jordan Sears (yes, another transfer) averaged 21.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 points per game last season for the UT Martin Skyhawks.
His astounding stats from last season give him a leg up over the previous two point guards but his lack of playing at the Power-6 (now Power-5) level knocks him down a few pegs compared to the guards who follow.
Sears will be heading into his fifth season of collegiate basketball so it's not to say that he has no experience at all but the SEC is a whole new ball game.
