The Wildcats lost their head coach of 15 years when John Calipari headed to Arkansas and contrary to popular belief, this may not be the huge turnaround that Kentucky needs.
UK hired BYU's former head coach Mark Pope after he had a fairly successful season with the Cougars in the Big 12.
However, due to Calipari's departure, the Wildcats lost a load of talent from its existing roster and its 2024 recruiting class.
With all of that being said, it's still Kentucky and the Wildcats will be a far cry from the worst team in the SEC.
