Head coach Chris Beard is staying in Oxford despite speculations that he would take the Arkansas gig.
Beard was able to bring in a handful of transfers from non-Power Six teams that should eventually become stars for the Rebels but may lack the necessary cohesion in the upcoming year.
On the flip side, Ole Miss also lost five players to the portal to minimize the benefit of Beards' incoming recruiting class.
Texas should be able to dominate its old coach's team.
