Kiotti Armstrong, TE

High-four-star Jasper (TX) tight end Kiotti Armstrong is one of the top tight ends in the 2025 class. He was one of the big late additions to the Junior Day visitor list this week.

Armstrong was a priority at Junior Day for special teams coordinator/tight ends coach Jeff Banks, who he met with for over an hour on Jan. 20. Banks and the Longhorns staff reportedly made a very positive impression on Armstrong, making him feel like a priority during the weekend.

Texas is among a top group of schools early in Armstrong's recruitment that also includes the Oklahoma Sooners, LSU Tigers, Texas A&M, and TCU.

London Smith, ATH

Speaking of top visiting recruits that Texas made a big move for at Junior Day, the elite high-four-star 2026 Waco (TX) University wide receiver/athlete London Smith had a great experience on Jan. 20. Smith told Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods after the visit on Jan. 20 that Texas and the Oregon Ducks are his top two schools early this offseason.

Texas has a connection in this recruitment for Smith. He is reportedly cousins with freshman early enrollee Texas cornerback Kobe Black.

Smith has visited Texas multiple times since last fall, including for the Wyoming game at DKR on Sep. 16. He has also visited Oklahoma and TCU since last summer.
