This crop of "big humans" in-state in the 2025 class on the offensive side of the ball is deep and talented. The 2025 cycle should be a strong haul for offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood and the Longhorns in Texas from the high school ranks.

Among the top in-state offensive line targets for Flood and the Longhorns in the 2025 class, none is bigger and more imposing physically than three-star DeSoto (TX) offensive tackle Byron Washington.

The 6-foot-8 and 400-pound offensive lineman from South Dallas is as big and strong as any OT or interior lineman you'll find in most recruiting cycles. Washington has a great relationship with Flood and the Texas staff.

He's had multiple successful visits to Texas, including the most recent trip he took to Austin for the first big Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 20.

Well before the Junior Day visit, Texas was considered the early leader in Washington's recruitment. From everything we've heard from this recruitment in the last couple of months, that continues to be the case with Texas remaining in the pole position among Washington's top schools entering the spring.
