Texas football offers ex 5-Star Bama WR commit Jaime Ffrench
In the last couple of weeks, Texas football coaches have sent out over a dozen offers to emerging targets in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes. Among the highest-rated recent offers that Texas sent out on the recruiting trail went to the elite five-star Jacksonville (FL) Mandarin wide receiver and former Alabama Crimson Tide commit Jaime Ffrench.
Ffrench announced on his Twitter/X account on Jan. 29 that he had officially received an offer from the Longhorns.

Texas offered Ffrench just a couple of weeks after he decommitted from Alabama. The USC Trojans also offered him since he decommitted from Alabama on Jan. 14.
Multiple schools pushing for Ffrench with his recruitment open
Ffrench told 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong at Battle 7v7 Miami last weekend that he's got a "sharp" group of top three schools early this offseason. His top three included the Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida State Seminoles, and Miami Hurricanes.
Texas is one of many schools pushing to get Ffrench to visit their campus early this offseason. Some of the other schools to watch in this recruitment trying to get Ffrench to visit are the Texas A&M Aggies, Georgia Bulldogs, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee Volunteers, Florida Gators, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, LSU Tigers, Alabama, and Florida State.
It's clear that Ohio State, Miami, and Florida State are the three most likely schools for Ffrench to officially visit this offseason. Texas A&M is also a school to watch in this recruitment due to Ffrench's relationship with former Alabama wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins.
Wiggins joining the Texas A&M coaching staff has the Aggies in a spot to at least get Ffrench on campus for a visit if they make the right moves in this recruitment entering the spring.
