Texas Football: Position-by-position grades for UT's 2024 signing class
Running back
Jerrick Gibson (4-Star, IMG Academy)
Running backs coach Tashard Choice signed another stellar RB class for the Longhorns in 2024. The highest-rated of the two running backs Choice and the Longhorns signed in the 2024 class is the highly touted IMG Academy four-star Jerrick Gibson.
The 5-foot-10 and 215-pound Gibson is a big downhill-style running back with good quickness and burst. He is difficult to get to the ground as he already has the frame required to compete in the SEC out of the backfield.
Christian Clark (4-Star, Phoenix (AZ) Mountain Pointe)
Among the most underrated signees in this class for the Longhorns at the skill positions is four-star Phoenix (AZ) Mountain Pointe running back Christian Clark. The versatile 5-foot-11 and 195-pound rusher from Arizona is an elusive one-cut back with excellent field vision and the ability to make defenders miss in the open field.
Clark is also a good receiver out of the backfield and could develop into a good blocking back if he adds some muscle mass to his frame in his first year or two on campus.
