The other top priority from Mater Dei High School at the skill positions in the 2025 class for Sark and the Longhorns staff is the elite five-star star running back Jordon Davison. The 5-foot-11 and 210-pound blue-chip running back recruit from California is the next target on the recruiting trail that UT RB coach Tashard Choice has his sights set on.

Choice and Sark have built great relationships with Davison.

He told Horns247 last summer that he believes in Choice's ability to develop running backs on and off the field.

That shows with the results Choice has put forward on the recruiting trail and on the field with multiple successful stories at the running back position on the Forty Acres in the last couple of years. Texas churned out two running backs to the NFL last year in Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson.

Choice also recruited two elite running backs from Florida in the last two cycles to Texas, Orlando (FL) Edgewater five-star CJ Baxter Jr. and IMG Academy four-star Jerrick Gibson.

Texas has established a solid pipeline on the recruiting trail in Southern California at Mater Dei High School. The Longhorns have multiple Mater Dei players on the current roster, including freshman tight end Spencer Shannon and linebacker Brady Sarkisian. Texas also signed an elite offensive tackle from Mater Dei in the 2024 class, five-star Brandon Baker.

Harris and Davison are the next in line for the Longhorns among the top priority recruits from Mater Dei High School.
