For all intents and purposes, the roster that Texas football has in place at this point of the offseason is the group you can expect to see entering preseason camp and summer workouts for head coach Steve Sarkisian and staff.

Where 2024 Texas football transfers have landed this offseason?

Outside of a couple of potential late-spring pickups from the NCAA Transfer Portal, the roster is mostly set for the Longhorns entering the inaugural season in the SEC in 2024.

Sarkisian and staff did a good job this offseason with its roster management and the transfer portal. Texas only lost a handful of players who started games for them last season. Among the two dozen players who entered the transfer portal from Texas since the beginning of the offseason, most who had multiple years of eligibility remaining weren't competing for starting reps this spring.

Texas also did a nice job of upgrading the roster in the necessary areas with immediate impact transfers on both sides of the ball. The Longhorns added many immediate impact starters at wide receiver, defensive back, and defensive line this offseason from the portal.

Among the players who left the Longhorns via the transfer portal this offseason, over half of them have found new homes entering summer workouts and preseason camp. It's also noteworthy that multiple FBS programs have added more than one transfer from the Longhorns program this offseason.

Here's a look at where the Longhorns players who left the program via the transfer portal have landed so far this offseason.
