After taking care of business in Week 1 with a dominant 52-0 shutout victory over the Colorado State Rams in the season opener at DKR, No. 4 Texas football and head coach Steve Sarkisian turn their attention to the big Week 2 matchup on the road against the defending champs.

In the marquee Week 2 game around the college football landscape, the Longhorns will travel up to Ann Arbor to face the defending National Champion and No. 9 ranked Michigan Wolverines at the Big House.

In their inaugural season as members of the SEC, Sarkisian and the Longhorns will face a Michigan squad under a mostly new coaching staff led by first-year head coach Sherrone Moore. Michigan also turned over most of its starters on the roster on each side of the ball after winning the title last year.

Texas looked the part in Week 1 of a title contender, as it was dominant on both sides of the ball against a quality air-raid offense in Colorado State. The Longhorns allowed fewer than 100 passing yards and under 200 total yards of offense from the Rams while scoring touchdowns on six straight drives from the second quarter until late in the fourth to handily defeat Colorado State this weekend.

Michigan faced a bit more of a struggle in Week 1 to get the win over a quality G5 squad in the Fresno State Bulldogs in a primetime game on Saturday night in Ann Arbor. But a dominant effort from Michigan's stout defense salted away the double-digit win over Fresno State to move to 1-0 on the season for the Wolverines.

Here’s a look at the opening betting odds for the regular season opener between No. 4 Texas and No. 9 Michigan at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, MI, on Sep. 7 at 11 a.m. CT.
