Out of the 16 years of BCS National Championships, very few title-winning quarterbacks have gone on to find great success in the NFL. Some were Heisman winners, some went undefeated in their final season, and some set collegiate records.

All of that just to not succeed professionally.

Don’t get me wrong, there have been success stories, or really, just one. Take Cam Newton, he made it to the Super Bowl at the end of the 2015 season. Even though he lost, he may be the only genuine success story out of the 16 years.

Seven of the quarterbacks who were drafted into the NFL after winning the BCS National Championship game weren't taken until the 5th round of the draft or later. People, and teams, didn’t have high expectations of them and they proceeded to fizzle out of the spotlight.

In my opinion, here are the five quarterbacks who won the BCS title game and went on to be the biggest disappointments in the NFL.
