Week 3 SEC conference power rankings

From what I saw last weekend, the LSU Tigers looked like a better team on both sides of the ball in their loss to USC in the opener than they did in a 23-point win over FCS Nicholls State. LSU's passing game looks good, with Garret Nussmeier passing for over 600 yards and eight touchdowns in the season's first two weeks.
The ground game is still a work in progress, as LSU and head coach Brian Kelly are still searching for their go-to lead back to find more balance on offense.
Last week: 4 (-2)
Alabama played it tight against the South Florida Bulls at home. This game stayed within one possession until early in the fourth quarter, when Jalen Milroe and the Tide offense started putting their foot on the gas and pulled away from USF on the scoreboard.
First-year head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Tide are looking for a big victory on the road against the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium in Week 3.
Last week: 6 (+1)
The Mizzou Tigers' defense has been dominant in the season's first two weeks, shutting out their first two opponents. Mizzou gets a bigger challenge in Week 3 when it welcomes the No. 24 Boston College Eagles to Faurot Field on Saturday afternoon.
Last week: 3 (-1)
Head coach Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels have been firing on all cylinders on offense through the season's first two weeks. Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart has completed nearly 90 percent of his pass attempts for almost 800 passing yards, six passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.
On the ground, former Miami transfer Henry Parrish Jr. broke out last week with an impressive 165-yard and four touchdown performance in a 49-point thrashing of Middle Tennessee at home.
Ole Miss is a heavy favorite to defeat the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as hit travels to Winston-Salem for the first road game of 2024 this week.
