Head coach Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers head into the bye week, leading the SEC in interceptions thrown and ranking in the bottom three in the conference in total offense against P4 competition. Auburn needs this bye week to rest up and get healthy to try and get back on track in a couple of weeks at home against a reeling Mizzou Tigers squad.

. Week 6 Result: 24-13 win vs. UCF. . . . Florida. 3-2 (1-1 SEC). 14. 526.

Last weekend was an impressive showing for the Florida Gators, handling defeating a UCF Knights squad that couldn't hit any deep shots to receiver Kobe Hudson on the outside. Don't look now, but head coach Billy Napier and the Gators have won three out of their last four games, including two straight by double-digits against P4 opponents.

Florida takes on a Tennessee team looking to bounce back from their upset road loss to Arkansas over the weekend in a crucial rivalry game in Knoxville in the SEC on Oct. 12 for Napier's squad.

. 13. 533. South Carolina. Week 6 Result: 27-3 loss vs. Ole Miss. . . 3-2 (1-2 SEC). .

Head coach Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks are the first big faller on this list for this week's SEC power rankings. South Carolina's passing game couldn't get anything going against the Ole Miss Rebels' smothering defense in a 24-point home loss in Columbia in Week 6.

South Carolina has a lot of work to do to figure out its quarterback situation with a difficult road trip looming this upcoming weekend in the SEC to face a mad Alabama squad coming off their road upset loss to Vandy in Week 6.

The No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners and head coach Brent Venables are coming off a bye week entering the Red River Rivalry game on Oct. 12 against the Longhorns. Can freshman quarterback spark the Oklahoma offense and lead the Sooners to a big upset win against No. 1 Texas in Red River in Dallas this weekend?

The offense is the biggest question mark for facing the Longhorns for an Oklahoma squad with one of the SEC's top defenses.
