Top-ranked (4-0, 0-0 SEC) Texas football will host the (1-3, 0-1 SEC) Mississippi State Bulldogs this Saturday at 3:15 pm CT in their SEC debut game. The Longhorns, heavy 38-point favorites, will welcome the Bulldogs to Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas on Sept. 28.

This Saturday's game between the Longhorns and Bulldogs will mark the first meeting between the two teams since their Cotton Bowl clash on Jan. 1, 1999, in which the Longhorns emerged victorious with a 38-11 win. Before that matchup, the teams had split their previous four meetings, resulting in a 2-2 record between the programs.

In their SEC debut, the Bulldogs, led by first-year head coach and former Oklahoma Sooners offensive coordinator (2022-23) Jeff Lebby, will face off against Coach Sarkisian and the Longhorns in a "welcome to the SEC" matchup. Given the Longhorns' recent performances, we can likely expect them to handle this business similarly.

The broadcast details for this Saturday's Texas-Miss St. game are as follows.
