The big decision to watch out for this weekend, after the Longhorns landed Clark's commitment on Friday, is on Nov. 2 for the elite five-star Houston (TX) Bellaire small forward Shelton Henderson.

The No. 5 small forward recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking will decide between the Duke Blue Devils, Louisville, and Texas on Saturday afternoon.

Duke has emerged as the frontrunner in the race to land Henderson's commitment based on recent report from his recruitment in the past couple of weeks. Texas and Louisville have done a great job in this recruitment to stay alive with head coach Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils this fall on the trail.

While Duke is the favorite to land Henderson's commitment when he announces later today on Saturday, this is not completely a done deal yet. Texas and Louisville are still communicating with Henderson to try and get some last-minute movement in this recruitment before he announces on Nov. 2.

If Texas can convince Henderson that playing closer to home is the right move for him, then the Longhorns could make things interesting late before Henderson's announcement.

Henderson officially visited Texas back in late-September, around the same time that Terry and the Longhorns staff hosted Ament in Austin for his OV on Sep. 28. He's also officially visited the LSU Tigers, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Duke, Louisville, and Houston since late in the summer.
