DeAndre Moore Jr.
To-be junior DeAndre Moore Jr. will be Texas's most experienced returning wide receiver. Despite having zero catches during his true freshman campaign in 2023, Moore broke out for the Longhorns in 2024 with nearly 500 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
Manning might not have a better connection with any returning wide receiver for the Longhorns for the 2025 season than he's established with Moore. In the SEC opener against the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Manning and Moore connected on multiple deep balls, resulting in over 100 yards through the air and two scores between these two on offense.
Moore's 2024 campaign was a series of highs and lows. He had huge games in SEC play this past season against Mississippi State, the Vanderbilt Commodores, and in the conference championship against the Georgia Bulldogs.
In those three games against Mississippi State, Vandy, and Georgia, Moore combined for over 300 receiving yards, 19 catches, and five touchdowns.
The postseason also saw Moore become a consistent target for Ewers and the Longhorns. Since early December in the SEC title game, Moore and Golden were Texas's only two receivers with over 150 receiving yards.
Moore and Wingo will be the leaders for Texas's wide receiver room after an offseason of pretty heavy roster turnover at the position for 2025.
