IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) 4-star DE Jake Kreul officially named Texas and Oklahoma as the final two schools left in contention for his pledge.
The 6'2", 230-pound edge rusher has an unusually polished pass rush repertoire for being so young, but that's almost to be expected by a player of his caliber from the type of NFL talent producer that IMG Academy has been over the years. Kreul has also been a consistent participant in offseason pass rush schools and camps that focus on development and recognition.
His ability to stop/start in short areas make him a dangerous weapon when twisting and spinning around offensive linemen. It's incredibly easy for him to dip and rip around blockers at the snap due to his hip and ankle flexibility as well.

One of his most impressive attributes is his mental acuity in regard to his processing speed and decision making at the point of attack. He does a great job of cycling through his pass rush moves, always keeping blockers on their toes.
Kreul also has decent length with a wingspan of 78.8 inches, which is longer than 2025 NFL Draft 2nd-round pick Mike Green. He has the makeup of an above-average collegiate defensive end as long as his overall speed improves, as he's currently more of a "quick" than fast player right now.
Kreul participated in both the Under Armour All-American game and Polynesian Bowl this summer, recording sacks and TFLs in both events for his team. He was also named the "Alpha Dog" by 247sports at the Under Armour Next camp in Miami, FL.
He totaled 39 tackles, 12 TFL, 11 QBHs, and 6 sacks during his 9-game Junior season in 2024, per MaxPreps.
