When the Indianapolis Colts officially named Daniel Jones as their starting quarterback for the 2025 season over Anthony Richardson, Griffin III took to X to make a statement about the decision.

For Colts fans, they could and have seen this as an extreme slight to the organization seeing has Griffin is insinuating that Daniel Jones isn't good enough to do anything for the team. Despite not having the most success since his 9-win, 3:1 touchdown to interception ratio season in 2022, he still shows flashes of good quarterback play.

If you read through the post's thread, you'll see the uproar of fans going off on Griffin III. As always, most of what they are saying is uncalled for but you get the picture on how a good portion of the Colts' fanbase feels.

In regard to Manning, one of the biggest mysteries will be whether or not he'll decide to declare for the NFL Draft in 2026, or stay at Texas for another year until 2027. It's more than likely something that'll be a huge topic throughout the entire season unless he completely bombs this year, which shouldn't be the case. Though his grandfather Archie Manning recently said that he's staying for another season, Arch recently refuted it, causing even more hesitation on the subject.

Regardless of what Arch decides to do after the 2025 season, it's still going to be an important year for him. Who knows, maybe teams will actually "tank" for him at some point, but Griffin III certainly ruffled a lot of feathers with what he said here.
