SEC makes mistake of a lifetime, plays wrong fight song to greet Steve Sarkisian

As Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian took the podium at the SEC Media Days, the conference made the mistake of a lifetime.

Steve Sarkisian took the stage at his second-ever SEC Media Days, but something was slightly askew as the Texas head coach walked up to the podium.

While Sarkisian walked up the stairs and across the stage, it wasn't 'Texas Fight' or 'The Eyes of Texas' playing over the speakers. No, it was instead the Texas A&M fight song, 'The Aggie War Hymn.'

Sarkisian did a fantastic job of playing it cool and not acknowledging the mistake made by the conference. However, of all the songs for the SEC to play as the Texas Longhorns' head coach took the stage, they couldn't have made a bigger mistake.

The rivalry between the Horns and the Aggies is unlike any other and was finally reignited during Texas's first season in the SEC, a game in which the Longhorns walked away victorious.
