The Texas Longhorns captured the SEC regular season title to cap off their first season in the conference. Now, the Horns turn their focus to the postseason and the SEC Tournament.
Despite winning the regular-season title, Texas received the No. 2 seed after the South Carolina Gamecocks won the determining coin toss. However, the Longhorns still get a double bye and won't see any tournament action until the quarterfinal round of the tournament.
The SEC Tournament features a single-elimination bracket that includes all 16 of the conference's teams. The top four programs received byes through the first two rounds, and the next four received a single bye. The bottom eight teams will tip off in the first round on Wednesday, March 5.
