Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns head down to Athens, GA, for a heavyweight bout against the Bulldogs on Saturday night. The last thing he wants to worry about right now is Lane Kiffin and his "interesting" remarks.
In his presser today, Sarkisian was asked a question about Kiffin's comments from earlier in the year regarding whether or not college football dynasties are dead.
“In my opinion, the dynasties are over." Kiffin told ESPN. “Alabama with Coach Saban and then Kirby [Smart] at Georgia, where they had those rosters year in, year out and there would be a bunch of wins by 30 points in the conference, those days are done."
Though some of it makes sense, the fact that dynasties can no longer be a thing in college football is totally ridiculous. Also, close to 30-point wins in conference play are still happening.
Steve Sarkisian also tends to agree, responding to questions about Kiffin's comments with:
"Lane says a lot."
Steve Sarkisian when asked about Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin saying dynasties in college football are dead:

"(Lane) says a lot."
Dynasties will always be around in college football, regardless of what win total makes them a dynasty in today's game. Instead of going 12-0 in the regular season like teams of the past, a "dynasty" could mean that Alabama, Georgia, or Ohio State will go 10-2 for the next 10 years.
Though Kiffin didn't go into detail about what would qualify as a dynasty in college football going forward, it's still a bizarre idea to put out there.
