Texas has been going after its top 2027 targets pretty hard lately, scheduling tons of official visits for both the spring and summer. They've scheduled over five in the past week, and they just locked in another for one of their top wide receiver targets last night.
4-star Chaminade-Madonna HS WR Ah'Mari Stevens just let Steve Sarkisian and Co. know that he'll be available and in town on June 19th for his official visit. The coaching staff couldn't be happier as they really wanted to get Stevens on campus this year to try and flip him from Miami, where he committed to on January 11th.

The 5'11", 160-pound receiver plays much bigger than he actually is, consistently "mossing" defenders downfield due to his above-average vertical and athleticism at the catch-point.
He also has excellent speed and knows how and when to use it on the field. He's a very cerebral player when it comes to speed, seemingly changing gears out of his breaks and double-moves to increase the separation at the top of his routes.
It's not often that you see a receiver look this polished at the high school level, and he looks like a college player right now.
Stevens is currently ranked as the No.31 overall WR prospect in the 2027 cycle, which seems a little low right now. He burst onto the scene in 2024 as a sophomore at St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Ft. Lauderdale before transferring to Chaminade-Madonna for his junior year.
The Longhorns are hoping that his connection to current teammate and Texas commit Derrek Cooper will help to coerce him to Austin. As mentioned earlier, Stevens looks like a much more advanced player than his peers, and he'd be an incredible asset to have in any Power Four wide receiver room in 2027.
