In a recent press conference, Steve Sarkisian was asked a few questions about different position groups, and he let the media know that he's going to be focusing on the running back position this week.
It's no secret that the Longhorns have been pretty banged up in the running back room over the first four games of the season. Quintrevion Wisner hasn't played since since week 1 and C.J. Baxter got hurt on the first play against UTEP in week 3, so he's basically been out for two weeks as well.
"I think that's what this week is for. We've really got to assess, as Tre and C4 start finding their way back and now we've got five guys that have carried the ball and we know can carry the ball. We start to look at their strengths and areas of maybe where we think they can improve and need to improve, then how do you balance that out? What does that look like? That's what a week like this is for." Sarkisian said on Monday.
It sounds like Wisner's been dealing with a minor, nagging injury that shouldn't keep him out for the Florida game. Due to the team playing inferior opponents over the past few weeks, the coaching staff has kept him out as more of a precaution. He's been engaged and in team meetings throughout this entire time, and Sarkisian said that he's not really worried about his overall status.
"For him, he's such an engaged guy. Some guys get injured and kind of fade to the back...the thing about Tre--he's constantly in it. He's in every install meeting I'm not as concerned about him as I would be with others."
It sounds like C.J. Baxter is also on pace to return against Florida on October 4th, which is great news:

There's still 11 more days to go until the Longhorns suit up for their next game in Gainesville, FL, and that's more than enough time for Wisner, Baxter, and even DT Alex January to heal up and get ready to go.
The closer we get to SEC play, the closer the Longhorns get to having a fully healthy team.
