Steve Sarkisian and Texas have undoubtedly made it a priority to surround Arch Manning with weapons in the portal, as they were able to lock up Michigan State TE Michael Masunas, Auburn WR Cam Coleman, NC State RB Hollywood Smothers, and Arizona State RB Raleek Brown so far.
Though the team obviously needed to add those types of pieces for 2026, two fairly big moves along the offensive line took place within the past few days as well.
Texas was able to gain a commitment from Oregon State OG Dylan Sikorski on Friday, and 2025 starting center Connor Robertson announced his plans to return to the team for 2026, last night.

Though the Longhorns are undoubtedly going to bring in two to three more players along the offensive line heading into 2026, the group is beginning to take shape after seeing some other members leave the program as well.
As of right now, Texas' offensive line depth chart probably looks like:
Position | Starters | Backups |
|---|---|---|
LT | Trevor Goosby | Jaydon Chatman |
LG | Dylan Sikorski | Jordan Coleman |
C | Connor Robertson | Jackson Christian |
RG | Nick Brooks | Devin Coleman |
RT | Brandon Baker | Andre Cojoe |
True freshman Nick Brooks looked sufficient at guard in 2025 when he was forced onto the field but Texas is still looking to add another starting-quality interior lineman in the portal. The team also wants to add a backup center, as Jackson Christian could see time there in the spring, but they don't have another true center on the roster besides Robertson right now.
Jaydon Chatman and Andre Cojoe have both cross-trained at offensive guard as well so there's actually quite a bit of different options that the team has along the offensive line in terms of finding the best starting five heading into 2026.
The Longhorns also recently brought in Yale OT Michael Bennett for a visit, but he unfortunately decided to commit to Oregon this morning. This obviously means that the team's looking to add another offensive tackle as well to either compete on the right side with Brandon Baker, or as a depth-level swing tackle for 2026.
A lot of new collegiate offensive linemen jumped into the transfer portal this weekend, so Texas OL coach Kyle Flood still has some excellent options to choose from.
