According to Rivals.com, 2026 top-20 overall recruit Maximo Adams has included the Texas Longhorns in his group of final four schools that he'll choose from on decision day.

Adams visited Texas on September 27th and has been in constant contact with the Longhorns' coaching staff since he was officially offered in July.

The 6'7", 205-pound small forward from Sierra Canyon HS in Chatsworth, CA is currently ranked as the No.22 overall player in the nation for 2026 according to 247sports.com's composite rankings.

Adams is an incredibly efficient and dangerous scorer from multiple areas of the court, and his surprisingly good ball-handling allows him to create space in tight situations. He has a very smooth midrange jumper and transitions well off the dribble as well with defenders in his face.

He seemingly plays bigger than he is, often times out-muscling larger players around the key. Despite being able to shoot from distance, there's a chance that he'll bump inside at the next level as an uber-athletic power forward. Adams could be even more effective in college as a scorer inside due to his quickness and ability to create mismatches against taller players.

Despite announcing his final schools, he has yet to set an official commitment date.
