Though it hasn't officially happened yet, elite Florida RB Jadan Baugh is expected to hit the transfer portal, and Austin could be his next destination.

The Florida Gators are facing a transfer portal exodus, and one specific player to watch is running back Jadan Baugh, who took the college football world by storm in 2025. He hasn't left the team yet, but multiple sources believe that he's going to be entering the transfer portal within the next two weeks.

Baugh finished the 2025 regular season with 1,170 rushing yards, a 5.3 ypc average, and 8 touchdowns to go along with 33 recs., 210 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns through the air. His most impressive performance of the year was against Florida State, when he rushed for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns.

What stands out most about Baugh is his overall size and stature as a ball-carrier. He's currently listed at 6'1", 231 lbs., and he's built like a linebacker. Despite being so heavy, he runs like a player who weight 30 pounds lighter, consistently side-stepping and juking out defenders at the line of scrimmage.

It's not hard to see why he's projected to be contacted by basically every program that needs a running back in the transfer portal when he enters, so the Longhorns will need to offer him a fairly lucrative NIL deal if they want to lock him up.

The pain of losing C.J. Baxter and potentially losing Tre Wisner this offseason would be completely relinquished if the Longhorns were able to bring in Jadan Baugh. It's also worth noting that his RB coach at Florida, Jabbar Juluke, was just hired at Texas.

Heading into the 2026 season with a running back room consisting of Baugh, Christian Clark, Derrek Cooper, Michael Terry III, and James Simon would be incredibly exciting for both the fans and coaching staff.
