Texas fans are loving the return of Arch Manning's swagger

After his 1st quarter touchdown run, Arch finally looks like he's regained some of the confidence and swagger that he's been missing in 2025.

Aside from missing some touch and accuracy as a passer over the first few weeks of the season, Arch Manning has been lacking the confidence and swagger that he's been known for throughout the 2024 season.

After he scored his 1st quarter rushing touchdown tonight, he undoubtedly showed signs of his old self, and Longhorns fans are absolutely loving it. Longhorn nation has missed this version of Arch.

Manning's been so lively and motivated on the sidelines throughout the entirety of the game so far, and it's a huge reason as to why he's playing so well right now in general. As a passer, he looks like a completely different player than he did in weeks two and three. Yes, it's against an 0-3 Sam Houston State team but the throws he's making have been top-notch, and one's that he's been missing recently.

This is exactly the type of game that Manning and this Texas offense has needed to "get right", and they're definitely showing signs of improvement right now in every aspect.

As we've seen tonight, once Arch gets motivated and gets into a rhythm, he's incredibly hard to stop both as a passer and runner. The total lack of self-confidence has been Manning's kryptonite so far in 2025 and speaking for all Texas fans, thank goodness he found some before they face Florida on October 4th.
