Texas fans won't be able to help but laugh at OU and Texas A&M fans completely imploding

As the Texas Longhorns have climbed to a 4-0 record, the No. 1 ranking in the country, and the greatest chance (so far) of making it to the College Football Playoff, their rivals have done the complete opposite, and it has been glorious to watch.

The Oklahoma Sooners and Texas A&M Aggies, who were both in the top 10 of the preseason AP Top 25 Poll, have both vanished from the rankings entirely and both sit at the bottom of the SEC standings with 2-2 overall records to their names.

It has been almost laughable how quickly the two teams have fallen apart. While Texas fans may not be 100% sold on their team's flawless record, they can certainly laugh at the demise of the Horns' rivals.

In fact, the implosion has been so quick that quite a few OU and Texas A&M fans aren't even fully sure of how to respond, and their solutions have been comedic gold.

One Aggie fan called for head coach Mike Elko and his entire staff to be fired, turning to AI as the solution for Texas A&M's issues.

Meanwhile, another supporter of Texas's little brother called for the Aggies to try to poach Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian as Elko's replacement.

Up north in Norman, things aren't looking much better, with one Oklahoma supporter calling for fans to boycott the program, akin to what we saw out of the Arkansas Razorbacks just a couple of weeks ago.

In the Sooners' latest loss (a 41-13 blowout defeat at the hands of the Georgia Bulldogs), it took just one quarter for fans to start calling for Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables' job.

If you dive even deeper into the message boards, you can find the Arkansas Razorbacks crumbling as well, but nobody really expected anything out of them this season anyway.

It has been beyond entertaining to watch the two teams start so poorly, and their fans abandon ship so quickly, and the best part is that Texas doesn't even have to rely on either Texas A&M or Oklahoma to be quality teams for the Horns' strength of schedule to stack up well against the rest of the field.

Sooners and Aggies' demise is only the cherry on top of Horns' success

In fact, an easy matchup in both the Red River Rivalry (Texas-OU) and the Lone Star Showdown (Texas-Texas A&M) may actually be exactly what the Horns are looking for because of how difficult the rest of their schedule is.

Simply put, blowout wins over Texas's biggest rivals could simply be the cherries on top of an "ice cream sundae" that already has the makings of a CFP-worthy resume.

Through the first four games of the season, the Longhorns have already secured two top-15 wins: over then-No. 1 Ohio State and over then-No. 14 Tennessee. Even with Oklahoma and Texas A&M dropping from the top 25, Texas still has five ranked matchups remaining.

While the gauntlet of a schedule will undeniably test the Horns to their limit, it also guarantees that even one or two losses could still have Texas heading back to the CFP.

Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas A&M are the only unranked teams that Texas will face over the rest of the regular season.

To sum all of this up, the No. 1 Texas Longhorns should absolutely be reveling in their rivals' demises because this is unlike anything we've seen in quite a while.
