Though Texas has always been a consistent source of professional football talent, an incredibly interesting stat recently popped up regarding just how successful the Longhorns' NFL pipeline truly is.

Over the past three years, Texas has been as good as anyone at producing high-level football talent, officially being tied for the national lead with 29 NFL Draft selections since 2024.

Longhorns fans are obviously more "in the know" and aware of the number of players who head to the league every season, but if you're not a fan of the program, that's a mind-blowing stat.

List of Texas players drafted since 2024

LB Anthony Hill Jr. - Tennessee Titans
CB Malik Muhammad - Chicago Bears
DE Trey Moore - Miami Dolphins
S Michael Taaffe - Miami Dolphins
OG D.J. Campbell - Miami Dolphins
TE Jack Endries - Cincinnati Bengals

CB Jahdae Barron - Denver Broncos
WR Matthew Golden - Green Bay Packers
DT Alfred Collins - San Francisco 49ers
S Andrew Mukuba - Philadelphia Eagles

That's a crazy amount of players, and next year's class could allow them to run away with the lead as five members of the team are projected to be 1st-rounders alone in the 2027 NFL Draft.
