It looks like a few of the Longhorns' playmakers are in street clothes on the sideline during warmups.

As the teams are warming up before kickoff, it appears that multiple Texas players are surprisingly set to miss today's game for undisclosed purposes. Given that no other information has been released heading up to this point, it could be just for precautionary reasons against an inferior opponent.

RB Quintrevion Wisner, DT Alex January, RB Colin Page, and DT Isaiah Coleman are currently in "street clothes" next to their position groups on the field.

It looks like we'll be seeing lots of C.J. Baxter today until the game gets out of hand, in which Jerrick Gibson, Christian Clark, and even true freshman James Simon could get some playing time.

Alex January hasn't been on the injury report, so his status is somewhat of a mystery as he was a main part of Texas' defensive tackle rotation against Ohio State. It's possible that he might've tweaked something at some point between walkthroughs this week and today's pre-game stretching/warmups.
