It was an incredibly ugly first half for the Texas Longhorns tonight, as a plethora of problems continue to hold the team back in crucial games.

The Longhorns trail 14 to 3 at halftime, but the way things have been looking on the field, it feels like Texas is down three touchdowns right now. It seems like the Longhorns have been committing a penalty every two to three plays, which has completely killed multiple offensive drives so far for Arch Manning and Co.

On top of the penalties, the consistent drops by both receivers and tight ends persist, with Ryan Wingo dropping passes left and right throughout the first and second quarters. He had a huge third-down drop in the first quarter that forced Texas to kick a field goal in the redzone. DeAndre Moore Jr. and Jordan Washington also had drive-ending drops as well.

It's absolutely unreal how the penalty and drop issues haven't been resolved by week 12.

On the defensive side of the ball, despite Michael Taaffe and Jelani McDonald being back for this game, Texas hasn't been able to stop Gunner Stockton and the Bulldogs' passing attack. Georgia wide receivers Zachariah Branch and Noah Thomas have been able to run around basically uncovered for the majority of the night, with Thomas already catching two touchdowns in the matchup.

UGA OC Mike Bobo has been attacking whoever is lined up at cornerback opposite Malik Muhammad, and it's obviously been working. Jaylon Guilbeau and Kade Phillips need to get it together in the second half if the Longhorns are going to have any chance at slowing down that Bulldogs offense.

Let's see what kind of adjustments Texas DC Pete Kwiatkowski makes heading into the third quarter.
