Texas RS freshman WR Parker Livingstone has been one of the most dominant pass-catchers in college football over the first two weeks of the 2025 season, and the conference has awarded him with a special honor following Saturday's home opener.
He earned the honor of being the SEC's Freshman of the Week for his 4 catch, 128-yard, 2 touchdown performance against the San Jose State Spartans in week 2.
Livingstone officially leads the team in receiving yards with 175, yards per reception at 29.2, and receiving touchdowns with 3 as of right now. His yards per reception and receiving touchdown numbers are also tops in the SEC heading into week 3.

Coach Sarkisian also had something nice to say about Livingstone following the game on Saturday:
"When the ball comes his way, he makes his plays. That's a valuable asset to have when you're trustworthy, and he's definitely a trustworthy guy."
Livingstone, who's also Arch Manning's roommate, has shown over the first two games that he has just as good of a connection with Manning on the field as he does off of it. The duo's hot start to the 2025 season has reminded Texas fans of the way Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley used to look on the field back in the day.

Let's hope the Manning to Livingstone connection can keep producing explosive plays in 2025.
