Texas women's basketball All-American, Madison Booker, helped Team USA defeat Team Brazil Sunday night 92-84 to win her fourth career gold medal in the sport.

Booker, alongside the likes of Audi Crooks, Hannah Hidalgo, and Flau'jae Johnson beat Team Brazil in Santiago, Chile last night to lock in a spot in the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup in Berlin, Germany.

Booker finished the championship game with 7 points and 5 rebs., with the second highest "+/-" designation of the night. Throughout the tournament, which began on June 29th, she averaged a respectable 7.1 points, 2.1 rebs., and 1.7 assts. per game for Team USA.

"What a performance by our team. We knew it was going to be just a tough, physical game. It was what we expected. Brazil is a wonderful team and the power they have in their front court gave us some challenges, and our team just continued to fight."
Team USA HC Kara Lawson

The team continues to roll in this year's tournament and it's going to be extremely exciting to watch Madison and her teammates compete in the World Cup next year.
