While the Texas baseball season has come and gone, that doesn't mean that the Longhorns are actually done with their on-field and in-game schedule quite yet.
This summer, the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team has gathered on the East Coast to prepare for the World Collegiate Baseball Championship, where it will face the likes of Korea, Chinese Taipei, and Japan.
That Team USA roster is composed of the top college players in the country, and this summer, it includes two Longhorns: Anthony Pack Jr., a Texas outfielder and the SEC Freshman of the Year, and now-former Texas pitcher Luke Harrison.

Over the last few weeks, both Pack and Harrison have cemented themselves as legends of the collegiate baseball team, knocking in RBIs and dealing one strikeout after another.
In a matchup at the end of June, Pack racked up a whopping three hits, four RBIs, and one run in just a single game. He always earned two putouts while committing zero errors in a game that he helped the CNT Stars team win, 11-5.

That's three hits and four RBIs already for the freshman! @theeantpack x @TexasBaseball pic.twitter.com/Iipzr04SvK
A few days later, Harrison dominated on the mound for the Stars. The veteran Longhorn pitcher was in for two innings and gave up just one hit, allowing zero runs and earning four strikeouts as Team USA faced the Appalachian League Select team.

Simply put, while Harrison won't be returning to the 40 Acres next season, the Longhorns are looking primed for yet another year of dominant batting with a player like Pack leading the way.
USA Baseball CNT loaded with College World Series stars
Unsurprisingly, Pack and Harrison aren't the only athletes who are fresh off an appearance in the College World Series on the Collegiate National Team.
- Gavin Kelly, utility, West Virginia Mountaineers
- Kolby Branch, infielder, Georgia Bulldogs
- Myles Upchurch, right-handed pitcher, Alabama Crimson Tide
- Xander Mercurius, right-handed pitcher, Oklahoma Sooners
- Jimmy Janicki, utility, Troy Trojans
- Walker Hooks, left-handed pitcher, Ole Miss Rebels
- Anthony Pack Jr., outfielder, Texas Longhorns
- Cord Rager, left-handed pitcher, Oklahoma Sooners
- Luke Harrison, left-handed pitcher, Texas Longhorns
The rest of the roster contains a slew of college players who made the NCAA Tournament with their respective teams, but only those nine stars made the trip to Omaha.
Of course, Xander Mercurius and Cord Rager were part of the National Championship-winning Oklahoma Sooners, who stunned the country and the North Carolina Tar Heels to win the College World Series final.
Pack and Harrison are two of the 57 collegiate players who made the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, a roster that is currently divided between the CNT Stars (which claims both Longhorns) and the CNT Stripes.
This year, the World Collegiate Baseball Championship is taking place in Taichung City, Taiwan, and will start on July 11, with the Championship game taking place on July 15. It is yet another chance for Harrison to earn a ring before his college career ends, and hopefully a second of many for Pack.
