He also lettered in basketball during the 1994-95 season and earned a bachelor's degree in sociology. Juluke began his coaching career in Louisiana high schools, starting as a defensive coordinator at Douglas HS (1996-98) before becoming head coach at Karr HS (2006-12).

Collegiate coaching journey
Juluke began his collegiate coaching career in 2013 as the running backs coach at Louisiana Tech, where he coached future Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon. He led the nation in rushing touchdowns with 27 as a freshman, and was later drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
After three seasons at LA Tech, Juluke moved on to LSU where he coached Tigers and NFL star RB Leonard Fournette during his final collegiate season.
He then spent one year at Texas Tech as Associate Head Coach and Running Backs Coach before moving to Louisiana–Lafayette (2018–21). There, Juluke developed current Kansas City Chiefs RB Elijah Mitchell into a standout, as he rushed for 3,010 yards, 37 touchdowns, and averaged over 6.0 yards per carry. Mitchell was eventually selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
In 2022, Juluke joined the University of Florida in the same role, coaching Montrell Johnson—who went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft—and forming a productive two-year tandem with former Georgia Bulldog and current Carolina Panthers rookie Trevor Etienne.
In 2024, Juluke helped recruit and develop five-star RB Jadan Baugh, the No. 19 player in the nation. As a freshman, Baugh rushed for 673 yards, seven touchdowns, and averaged 5.1 yards per carry. Baugh then exploded onto the scene this past season for the Gators, nearly doubling his production from 2024 with 1,170 rushing yards, eight touchdowns, and 5.3 yards per carry.
Recruiting ties
Juluke has built a strong reputation as a collegiate running back developer, known for consistently turning talented players into standout performers at the next level. At the same time, he is a proven recruiter with deep ties in Louisiana and Florida, two of the nation’s richest talent pipelines.
His proven ability to develop players and knack for finding gems at the high school level makes him an extremely valuable asset for Texas going forward, as the Longhorns look to continue finding success in the ground game.
