The biggest game of the year for the No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies (8-3, 5-2 SEC) and probably No. 3 Texas football (10-1, 6-1 SEC) will cap the 2024 regular season for both teams on Nov. 30 in College Station. The highly-anticipated renewal of the Lone Star Showdown between Texas and Texas A&M will be revitalized during Thanksgiving week.

The last time the Longhorns and Aggies met on the gridiron was when kicker Justin Tucker nailed the game-winning field goal at Kyle Field in College Station during the 2011 season.

It's noteworthy that this might be the highest-stakes matchup between the Longhorns and Aggies in the Lone Star Showdown in the modern era of college football. Since 1990, this will only be the third ranked matchup between Texas and Texas A&M.

The winner of this rivalry game matchup in College Station next weekend will face the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, GA, on Dec. 7.

Here’s a look at the opening betting odds for the Week 14 rivalry matchup between No. 3 Texas and No. 20 Texas A&M at Kyle Field in College Station, TX, in the Lone Star Showdown on Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
