Steve Sarkisian isn't wasting time on the first day of the 2026 transfer portal period, as Texas is actively going after the No.1-ranked wide receiver in the cycle.
Former Auburn receiver and 5-star 2024 recruit, Cam Coleman, recently announced his decision to hit the portal. As soon as the news dropped, every top-tier program undoubtedly began to think of ways to bring him in. Though Texas A&M is reportedly going after him fairly hard as well, it seems like the Longhorns have a slight edge for the elite playmaker.

Coleman is the No. 1 player in the On3 Transfer Portal.

With both DeAndre Moore Jr. and Parker Livingstone set to leave as well, Texas is in need of a playmaker opposite Ryan Wingo in 2026. Pairing Coleman and Wingo together next season would be a best case type of scenario for the Longhorns' offense.
We might not get Baugh & that’s okay. Florida emptied the clip to keep him that works in our favor anyway lol

Arch Manning being able to throw to the likes of Coleman, Wingo, Kaliq Lockett, and Jack Endries next season would be a dream for Longhorn Nation.
