For the first time since joining the SEC, the Texas Longhorns will face the Missouri Tigers, and they'll do so on the Tigers' home turf in Columbia.
However, while these two teams haven't shared a field as SEC opponents, they are far from strangers, with Missouri having been in the Big 12 until it left the conference in 2012, more than a decade before the Horns followed suit.
So, with a throwback "Big 12" game just over the horizon, here is everything you need to know about the No. 7 Texas Longhorns paying a visit to the No. 18 Missouri Tigers:
How to watch No. 7 Texas Longhorns vs. No. 18 Missouri Tigers

Forecast in Columbia for Week 10 matchup between Texas and Missouri
- High: 53º
- Low: 34º
- Temperature at kick: 48º
- Humidity at kick: 66%
- Wind at kick: 3 MPH West
While it isn't that much farther north than Austin, the climate in Columbia is entirely different than what the Longhorns have played in recently.
With a low of 34º and a high of just 53º, the chilliness may play a big part in the game, at least in how the Horns start off in the game. The best news is that there will be a pretty negligible amount of wind, meaning it likely won't feel any colder than it actually is outside.
At kickoff, the projected temperature is hovering just below 50º, a difference of more than 25º from Texas's kickoff temperature last week when the Horns hosted Mississippi State.

Series history between Missouri Tigers and Texas Longhorns
As was stated earlier, the Longhorns and the Tigers have shared a field on numerous occasions, but this will be the first SEC meeting between the two.
- Overall record: 18-9-1, Texas
- First-ever meeting: Dec. 14, 1894, Missouri won 28-0
- Most recent meeting: Dec. 27, 2017, Texas won 33-16
Over nearly a century and a half in which Texas and Missouri have shared a history, the Horns have walked away victorious nearly two-thirds of the time, winning 18 of the previous 28 meetings. The Tigers have won on just nine occasions, and the two have tied just once, when they faced each other in Mexico City in 1896.
Texas holds the two longest winning streaks in the series, with a six-game streak from 2000 until 2009 as well as a nine-game streak from 1931 through 1996.
Missouri and Texas overlapped in the Big 12 from 1996 until 2011. In that time, the Horns walked away victorious from seven games, and the Tigers won on just two occasions, but claimed their most recent meeting as conference opponents in 2011, with a 17-5 win.
