The Preseason SEC Media Poll and 2025 All-Conference teams announced

Texas was predicted to finish No.1 in the SEC in 2025, and multiple Longhorn players were selected as Preseason All-SEC honorees.

The Texas Longhorns have officially been predicted to win the 2025 SEC Championship by a poll of conference media members during SEC Media Days this week.

Texas received 96 votes, which was more than double the next closest team which was Georgia at 44 votes. The conference championship game will be played on December 6th in Atlanta, GA, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The final tally of 1st-place votes consisted of:

Texas - 96

Georgia - 44

Alabama - 29

LSU - 20

South Carolina - 5

Oklahoma - 3

Vanderbilt - 2

Florida - 2

Tennessee - 1

Ole Miss - 1

Auburn - 1
