Cameron Williams, a veteran offensive lineman for the Longhorns went down early in the second half of Texas' game against the Florida Gators. Everything had gone according to plan in the first half, the Horns building a 35-0 lead over the Gators, and the second half started with yet another interception by the Texas secondary.

However, when Williams went down the stadium went silent. The big man had to be helped off the field and was barely putting any weight on his leg as he was walking along the sideline.

Williams has been with the Longhorns for three years and has worked his way into a strarting role for Texas, on a dominant offensive line.

In the first half, Texas allowed just one sack on quarterback Quinn Ewers as the ball slinger threw for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns. The O-Line also helped push the run game to nearly 60 yards in the first 30 minutes of the game.

Williams was replaced by redshirt freshman lineman Trevor Goosby at right tackle who was called for an illegal facemask penalty on his first play of the game. Just two plays after Williams exited the game, Ewers connected with wideout Isaiah Bond for a 34-yard touchdown, extending the Longhorns' lead to 42-0.

Williams returned on Texas' next drive of the game. He was called for offensive holding that brought back a run by Jaydon Blue.

This article will be updated as reports of Williams' status are released by the Texas football program.
