Texas is facing an Ohio State squad in its first full season under head coach Jake Diebler, who is one of the youngest head coaches in Division 1 college basketball (38).

This is the first time the Longhorns face a Quad 1 opponent at a neutral site to open the regular season since 2016-17, against the Washington Huskies under head coach Shaka Smart.
