Longhorn Nation experienced an injury scare with one of their top offensive linemen in the first quarter when starting LT Trevor Goosby went down with an apparent lower-body injury.

As we all know, Texas can't afford to lose any more offensive linemen right now, especially one that's been surprisingly good over the first half of the season. Goosby has been a stalwart at left tackle for Kyle Flood's offensive line, and he's one of the most athletic big men in all of college football.

Shortly after he made it to the sidelines, he went to the medical tent for a few minutes with some members of the training staff. Though no official injury has been diagnosed as of yet, it appears that he's going to be okay. He came back out a couple of drives later and hasn't been hobbling for favoring a specific leg or anything like that.

As mentioned earlier, if something happened to Goosby that early in the game, Texas would be in big trouble both for this matchup and for the rest of the season. Hopefully Steve Sarkisian or another member of the coaching staff addresses Goosby's status after the game.
