The final weekend of SEC football action before the first release of the College Football Playoff rankings wrapped up with a dozen teams in the conference in action in Week 10.

The highlight of the day for Week 10 over the weekend was the South Carolina Gamecocks and head coach Shane Beamer upsetting the No. 10 Texas A&M Aggies by double digits in Columbia. Texas A&M was the only ranked team to fall to an unranked team in SEC play last weekend.
With multiple teams on bye weeks in Weeks 10 and 11, there aren't as many chances for movement across the different tiers of the SEC team power rankings in early November. That said, the uncertainty surrounding the middle-tier teams' path to the conference title game over the next few weeks could shake up the SEC standings on Nov. 9 and 10.
