Week 11 SEC conference power rankings

SEC power rankings are starting to steady out entering the month of November for the 2024 regular season.

Week 11 will be a big prove-it game for head coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Mizzou Tigers. Mizzou hosts its former Big 12 North foe Oklahoma in CoMo, with the return of senior quarterback Brady Cook expected for the Tigers against the Sooners.

We'll see the extent of the lower-body injury to starting quarterback Taylen Green, who was banged up in an Arkansas Razorbacks blowout loss to the No. 19 Ole Miss Rebels in Fayetteville last weekend. Backup quarterback Malachi Singleton took over for the injured Green against Ole Miss.

Arkansas' defense looked really bad, giving up over 60 points and well over 500 passing yards to Jaxson Dart and the Rebels offense in a 32-point home loss.

Outside of the win over Georgia in late September in Tuscaloosa, the matchup this weekend in Baton Rouge against the No. 14 LSU Tigers could be the most important SEC game of this fall for the No. 11 Alabama Crimson Tide.

First-year head coach Kalen DeBoer needs a win over LSU to keep Alabama's SEC Championship Game and College Football Playoff hopes alive this fall.

Pavia and Vandy continue to impress with gritty wins in SEC play this fall, including a double-digit road victory last weekend over Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Week 10. Vandy has a big game in SEC play this upcoming weekend at home in Nashville against South Carolina.
