SEC football power rankings move closer to the finish line for the 2024 regular season before Week 13
The No. 8 Georgia Bulldogs also shook up the top group of the SEC power rankings this week after defeating the No. 10 Tennessee Volunteers by double digits last weekend in Athens at Sanford Stadium.
Only two full weeks remain for the 2024 regular season before the SEC Championship Game is decided, and then we get clarity for the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff bracket.

Head coach Brent Venables and the Oklahoma had the bye week last week to rest up and prepare for a really difficult matchup on Nov. 23 in Tuscaloosa against the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide. Even if Oklahoma's stout defense is able to limit Alabama's explosive offense, led by Jalen Milroe, the offense hasn't shown that it has enough juice to keep them competitive in this game against the Tide.
