Week 14 SEC conference power rankings
Just when you think SEC football action won't deliver much on the entertainment front during an "off-weekend" from the matchups in conference play, that thought gets turned on its head. Three ranked SEC teams in the top 20 of the College Football Playoff rankings fell to unranked foes in conference play over the weekend.
Week 14 will solidify which SEC football team faces Georgia between Texas A&M and Texas in the conference championship game in December
It started with the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels falling short of the Florida Gators in an upset at The Swamp in Gainesville, by a score of 24-17, on Nov. 23. Later in the day in Week 13, the Oklahoma Sooners dominated the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide in a decisive 24-3 win in Norman.
Last but not least, the No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies fell in an overtime thriller upset against the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium this past Saturday night.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are back in the basement of this week's SEC power rankings after a double-digit loss to the No. 23 Mizzou Tigers in Starkville last weekend. Mississippi State kept things close for most of the game in the second and third quarters against Mizzou this past Saturday, but the Tigers separated in the fourth quarter to nab the 19-point victory at Davis Wade Stadium.
Next up for first-year head coach Jeff Lebby and the Bulldogs is the Egg Bowl against Ole Miss on Black Friday (Nov. 29). Can Mississippi State pull the upset against its huge in-state rival Ole Miss this week?
