A rough run for the Kentucky Wildcats and head coach Mark Stoops in SEC play this fall saw this squad drop another tough game on the road over the weekend in a 17-point loss to No. 3 Texas football in Austin. Kentucky's defense played tough in this game, but a really good Longhorns' defense and a dominant Texas ground game put the Wildcats away in the second half.
Kentucky might have found something by putting freshman quarterback Cutter Boley in the game for Brock Vandagriff in the second half.

Oklahoma handily defeated a good Alabama squad, with a complete effort on both sides of the ball in Norman over the weekend. The Sooners rushed for over 250 yards and two scores while holding Alabama's powerful offense and dual-threat quarterback Jalen Milroe to just 234 total yards of offense.
The 21-point massive victory over the Tide helped head coach Brent Venables and the Sooners reach bowl eligibility. Oklahoma has a chance to reel in another big win in SEC play this weekend against a reeling LSU squad in Death Valley.

The Arkansas Razorbacks had a decent-looking win against a G5 foe in the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs last weekend, by a score of 35-14 at home. Arkansas became bowl eligible with the win over Louisiana Tech with a focus on the regular season finale in SEC play this week in Columbia on the road against Mizzou.

Despite nearly blowing a huge three-score first-half lead last weekend at home against Texas A&M, Auburn was able to pull off the exciting overtime victory 43-41 over the Aggies.
Bowl eligibility is now within reach for Auburn, albeit probably unlikely, unless the Tigers pull off another big upset against Alabama this weekend in the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa.
