Florida and head coach Billy Napier are putting together a really impressive stretch run this regular season. The Gators have two straight wins over ranked opponents, defeating No. 21 LSU and No. 9 Ole Miss in The Swamp in Gainesville in back-to-back weeks.
Entering rivalry week, the Gators are favored to beat in-state rival Florida State on the road in Tallahassee this weekend, which would move Florida to seven wins to close out the regular season.

A season of highs and lows has defined the 2024 campaign for first-year head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Tide in SEC play. Alabama is the only team to defeat Georgia, LSU, and South Carolina in SEC play this season. But the Tide have also fallen to unranked SEC foes in Vanderbilt and Oklahoma since early October.
The loss to the Sooners over the weekend might have decimated Alabama's last chance hopes to make the Playoff.

Despite the loss to Auburn in overtime last weekend, Texas A&M still has a path to making the 12-team College Football Playoff and SEC Championship Game entering the postseason. Texas A&M and first-year head coach Mike Elko need to defeat the in-state rival Longhorns in the renewal of the Lone Star Showdown in College Station this upcoming weekend.
Beat Texas and Texas A&M will face Georgia in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta on Dec. 7. Wins over the Longhorns and Dawgs would theoretically probably be enough to get the Aggies into the Playoff this postseason.

South Carolina moved one step closer to head coach Shane Beamer's first double-digit win season with the Gamecocks this fall after a 56-12 win over FCS Wofford in Week 13. The Gamecocks have a marquee ranked rivalry matchup on the road this weekend against the No. 12 Clemson Tigers in one of the biggest games of the week.
